Dance Education for
Reception Children

The KBDA Junior School curriculum for Reception-age children offers a comprehensive and fun introduction to dance through our bespoke Emerald Dance Foundation in Hook, Hampshire.

These classes introduce children to Ballet, Tap, Modern, and Creative Movement, providing a strong foundation for future training while nurturing creativity, confidence, and enjoyment.

Our curriculum inspires a love of dance and supports early learning and child development. Children improve their balance, rhythm, and coordination while developing teamwork, focus, and creative problem-solving skills in a fun and supportive environment.

We also offer Mini Musical Theatre classes on Saturday mornings - perfect for children who wish to expand their dance genres and explore new styles.

To celebrate their progress, each child receives a certificate at every level, and families are invited to Viewing Days throughout the year to share in their child’s achievements and joy in dance.
