Dance Education for
Reception Children

The KBDA Junior School curriculum is designed for Reception children, offering a comprehensive dance experience through our Emerald Dance Foundation and Emerald Extension Programme in Hook, Hampshire. These classes introduce Ballet, Tap, and Modern dance, providing a strong base for future dance education.

To complement this, we also offer Mini Street and Mini Musical Theatre classes on Wednesday evenings - perfect for children who wish to expand their dance genres and explore new styles.

Our curriculum not only inspires a love for dance but also promotes cognitive development, motor skills, and creative problem-solving. Children enhance their balance, rhythm, and coordination while developing essential social skills in a fun, supportive environment.

To celebrate their progress, each child is awarded a certificate at every level. Families can share in their child’s joy and achievements during ‘Viewing Days,’ offering a glimpse into their dance journey.
