From Year 4, students at Karen Blackburn Dance Academy in Hook have the opportunity to enhance their weekly training with supplementary Sunday sessions. These carefully designed classes complement their core dance programme, offering a rich variety of styles to explore and deepen.

Students can expand their repertoire by trying new genres such as Musical Theatre, Street Dance, and Creative Practice, while also refining skills in familiar areas, including Ballet, Tap, Modern, and Acro. This holistic approach encourages versatility, creativity, and boosts performance confidence - key attributes for any aspiring dancer.

The additional Sunday training enables students to fulfil their regular class commitments while gaining broader exposure to the diverse dance styles and techniques offered at KBDA.

While assessments and exams are offered in some disciplines, participation is entirely optional and tailored to each dancer’s individual goals, ensuring a supportive and personalised learning experience.
