The KBDA Junior School is where the dance journey begins for our youngest students in Hook, Hampshire. Designed for nursery and preschool children, it forms part of our Saturday Jewel Dance Programme, a fun and inspiring introduction to dance.

Starting with our Amber, Sapphire and Coral classes, children explore both structured and creative movement, building coordination, confidence, and a genuine love of dance.​  We also offer a child-and-caregiver class, giving little ones the chance to enjoy music and movement alongside a familiar adult in a relaxed, friendly setting.

As they grow, our dancers are introduced to recognised syllabi, including elements from ISTD Tap and Modern and RAD Pre-Primary and Primary Ballet. Our approach blends early years learning with high-quality dance training, ensuring children develop strong foundations and progress at a pace that suits their age and stage.

To celebrate their achievements, each child receives certificates at key milestones, and families are invited to Viewing Days throughout the year, providing an opportunity to see their child’s progress and share in the joy of dance.
