Acro
Fundamental Acrobatic Skills: Children will learn or develop acrobatic movements, such as forward rolls, basic handstands, bridges, and cartwheels. They will also start to combine Acro skills and transitions between movements. These foundational skills promote body awareness and control, which are essential for both acrobatics and dance.
Strength and Flexibility: Exercises that build core strength, improve balance, and increase flexibility are incorporated into the class. These skills enhance not only acrobatic ability but also benefit other dance forms, such as Ballet and Modern.
Coordination and Motor Skills: The early years are crucial for developing gross motor skills. Acro helps improve coordination through a series of carefully structured movements, helping children gain confidence in their physical abilities.

As part of the KBDA curriculum, a special Graduation Ceremony is held for children who successfully complete the Junior Dance School program, marking their transition to the next stage of their dance education. This significant milestone is celebrated with the awarding of a Graduation Certificate, recognising your child's growth, dedication, and achievements in their early dance journey.
